Through a commitment to cultural transformation and engaging equities, Music Connects offers inclusive, equity-driven programs such as:

  • Producing events that spotlight performances by BIPOC and LGBTQ artists

  • Artist grants that support continuing education, skill development, and career growth through access to government and institutional funding, as well as community donor support

  • Workshops focused on career development and essential knowledge for sustainable success in the music industry

  • Ongoing programs that foster vocational training, mentorship, and educational opportunities

  • Strategic partnerships that connect artists to venues, platforms, and professional outlets to build community and unlock new opportunities

Vision

Music Connects Foundation exists to transform the global electronic music community by addressing longstanding inequities and creating a culture of belonging for BIPOC and LGBTQ artists.

As artists and industry professionals, we understand that access, opportunity, and mentorship are essential building blocks for a thriving creative career. As community members, we believe in shaping the future by actively engaging with the present.

We envision an inclusive future for electronic music—one that reflects the richness of its diverse creators and audiences. We recognize that institutionalized systems of racism, prejudice, and homophobia continue to marginalize BIPOC and LGBTQ communities around the world.

In response, Music Connects is a resource and a catalyst for cultural transformation. Through global advocacy and local action, we work to dismantle these legacy systems and build a more equitable industry.

By providing direct access, inclusive opportunities, and mentorship programs, we remain committed to uplifting and engaging BIPOC and LGBTQ artists—empowering them to thrive creatively, professionally, and collectively.
