The DJ Blackstone Grant was created to celebrate the life and legacy of DJ Blackstone by supporting the next generation of artists, creators, and culture-makers in electronic music.
Presented by Music Connects Foundation in partnership with Underground Music Academy, AIR Music Tech, and Moog Music, the grant provides emerging artists with access to education, tools, and opportunities designed to help them grow their craft and advance their careers.
This year, four recipients will receive a scholarship to an Underground Music Academy course of their choice, along with premium music production software from AIR Music Tech and Moog Music.
Whether you're looking to sharpen your DJ skills, dive deeper into music production, strengthen your brand, or gain a better understanding of the music business, the DJ Blackstone Grant is designed to help remove barriers and create pathways for growth.
We believe talent is everywhere, but access is not. By investing in education and resources, we're helping build a more diverse, inclusive, and sustainable future for electronic music.

Eligibility
The DJ Blackstone Grant is open exclusively to emerging artists residing in Alameda, San Francisco, Contra Costa, and North Bay counties (Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and Solano).
Applicants should be passionate about electronic music and committed to developing their skills and creative practice.
